Lucknow Police Commissioner Inspects Police Office at Daliganj

Lucknow: Lucknow Police Commissioner Tarun Gaaba inspected the police office at Daliganj on Monday to review administrative functioning, pending cases and the overall efficiency of various branches. Joint Police Commissioner (Law and Order) Bablu Kumar accompanied him during the inspection.

During the visit, the Police Commissioner inspected different branches and sections of the office and reviewed the maintenance of records, disposal of files, status of pending matters and day-to-day office arrangements. He also interacted with officers and staff to understand the work being handled by them and issued necessary directions for improving efficiency.

The progress of the Complaint Cell, District Crime Records Bureau (DCRB) and Nafees Cell was reviewed in detail. The Commissioner sought updated information on the work being undertaken by these units and assessed their current progress. Matters and proceedings related to courts under the Lucknow Police Commissionerate were also reviewed.

The Police Commissioner directed officials to ensure the timely and quality disposal of pending cases and files. He stressed the need to keep records updated and properly organised, while calling for effective supervision of office work.

He also directed officials to ensure the prompt and effective resolution of public complaints. Various branches were asked to maintain better coordination and ensure effective action on matters falling within their respective responsibilities.

The Commissioner instructed all officers and employees to discharge their duties with dedication, promptness and accountability, with a focus on improving the overall functioning of the police office and ensuring better public service delivery.
